When the Lord Jesus stood outside the tomb in which his friends, Lazarus, was laid, he wept. This shows us that Jesus understands how much it hurts when someone you love dies. Our privilege as a Church is to do all we can to help those who are bereaved to find in Jesus all the comfort, strength and help you will ever need. The way in which we do this is by our minister, Steve, (or our Lay Reader, John Lane) offering to visit the family to discuss both the funeral service itself and any care that is desired after that. We will then provide a funeral service either in the parish church or at the crematorium, which will give thanks for the life of the person who has died, and seek to fix our eyes on the God who knows and understands suffering - and who is real and able to help us in our time of need. For any more information about this, please contact our minister, Steve Davis, on 01455 888488. |

From the Bible |
I am the resurrection and I am the life, he who believe in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and whoever lives and believes in me shall never die.. |
