As we've worked through 1 Corinthians this Easter, we've seen the triumph of God's love, freely given in the grace of Jesus's death and resurrection.

"Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through or Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Cor. 15:57)

In the next breath, Paul tells Christians that all of this impacts on our daily lives;

"On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income..." (1 Cor. 16:2)

By each one of us doing this -

* Setting aside a sum of money as a proportion of income

* Contacting us to arrange the giving in the appropriate form

the chancellor gives us as a church free money! (if you are a British taxpayer).

We therefore anticipated a shortfall of somewhere in the region of £6,2500 this year for our running costs - will you please help?
